St. Patricks Trust Projects
The Foundation was founded in January 1999 with the express intention of providing Education, Support and Ongoing Assistance for Babies, Infants and Children living with or affected as a direct result of HIV/AIDS.
Eco Access: Eco-Access manages a series of projects aimed at promoting environmental awareness in kids suffering from a variety of disabilities. A once off grant of R250, 000 was allocated and used to purchase, equip and sustain, two oversized tunnels for vegetable farming, including two roundabout facilities for water supply. Eco Access focuses its interventions on addressing the high levels of disempowerment and segregation experienced by disabled children and is geared at providing real life experiences to stimulate the senses.

The Grail Trust focuses on skills development of young adults in
townships
located in the vicinity of Kleinmond. The training provided includes arts &
crafts, computer skills and flower cutting and preparation. The International
Grail movement has a long history of effective development work worldwide.
It has proven staying power and acts as a bridge between communities and
local government officials.
Dance For All:
Dance for All’s mission is to provide children in
historically disadvantaged communities with the opportunity for
enjoyment, promotion of self esteem and empowerment through the medium
of dance, as well as training professional dancers and developing a
unique, indigenous dance company. DFA runs an Outreach Programme of
daily dance for over 1000 children and youth in the historically
disadvantaged communities of Gugulethu, Nyanga, Khayelitsha, Samora,
Athlone and the rural areas of Barrydale and Montagu.
University of the Western Cape:
The Social Transformation Prestige Scholarship on Social Transformation
and Development is run at the University of the Western Cape and gives
academically excellent students from disadvantaged backgrounds and
strong community commitment the opportunity to apply for a bursary on
undergraduate or post graduate level. Saint Patrick’s Trust
is proud to support the Social Transformation Programme at UWC by
assisting an under-graduate student in her B Com Law degree,
