What do we fund?
We fund selected projects that have commercial merit where the entrepreneur cannot source funding from conventional funders. It is important to us that the project has a positive benefit to the broader community and this is always a factor in our final investment decisions. We also support projects that help to create enterprise and entrepreneurs in the long term though business training and upskilling.
How do we fund?
Proposals need to be sent to the Trust, where they will undergo initial filtering. Those projects that meet our mandate will be investigated further. Our mandate also provides that we help entrepreneurs with their initial project planning and submission. This means that even where proposals are not assessment-ready, we promote strategies and structure anyway. All we need to see is that the project has potential and we will help with the rest.
- We do not provide grant funding.
- We do provide either low-interest loans, equity investments or a combination of the two.
- we have no maximum and no minimum investment levels, and invest according to ethical investment practices.
